A House Portrait from Springfield, New Jersey
A real estate agent hired Jennifer Skopp to create a Watercolor House Portrait of this brown Springfield home. The real estate agent wanted to give the House Portrait as a closing gift.
This brown two level house has five steps leading to the front door. The front door has a white storm door in front of it. To the left of the door there is a window and to the right of the front door there are three windows. The bottom level juts out a few feet from the second floor, where there are two windows. The bottom level has a black mansard roof and the second floor’s black roof comes to a point. There is one dormer window on the second floor roof.
Below the first level there is a white lattice wall. There is a garden to the right of the front steps that border the front and right side of the house. There is a white freestanding mailbox on the lawn, to the left of the entrance. A cement path leads to a stone slab in front of the front steps. There is another path from the street that leads to the backyard. A green lawn is in front and to the left of the house. On the right is a long driveway made of pink and gray paving stones with an intricate design.
