by Jennifer Skopp
A realtor commissioned Jennifer Skopp to create this Watercolor House Portrait of this Lake Como, Belmar, New Jersey Home. She was going to give it to her client, the new owner for a closing gift.
This two-story Jersey Shore home has gray siding with white trim. The house is an L shape. The front part that juts out has a saltbox roof, which means that one side of the pitched roof is much longer than the other side. The roof has dark gray shingles. There is a garage with a white door on the left side of the front of the house, with a driveway covered in brick-red pavers. A walking path that leads from the driveway wraps around the front of the house towards the right and then goes to the back of the house. There are two steps leading to the covered entranceway on the right. The front door is painted burgundy.
There is a small garden to the right of the front entrance. The areas on both sides of the driveway and in front are covered with white pebbles. A white fence separates this home from the houses on each side of it.
